Position Overview

As a Food Product Unloader, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to efficiently unload trailers filled with food items and prepare products according to warehouse standards.

Compensation:

  • Earn $15.00 per hour plus additional incentives
  • Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 5 AM to 1:30 PM

Your Contributions Will Include:

  • Receiving products, documenting code dates, and breaking down pallets according to established procedures
  • Organizing un-palletized items onto pallets
  • Transporting pallets from the dock to designated aisles
  • Utilizing electric pallet jacks, clamp machines, or sit-down forklifts to move pallets from inbound trucks
  • Maintaining productivity levels to avoid backlogs of products and trucks
  • Travel Requirements: None

Your Work Environment May Include:

  • Freezer Warehouse (temperatures ranging from -20°F to 0°F)
  • Perishable Warehouse (temperatures ranging from 28°F to 60°F)
  • Grocery Warehouse (temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F)

Skills Required:

  • Physical Requirements: Constant standing, walking, carrying, twisting, bending, balancing, seeing, hearing, and handling paperwork. Ability to lift objects weighing between 20 lbs. and 80 lbs. Occasional pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping may be required.
  • Special Skills: Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment (MHE). Strong communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential. Compliance with all company policies and procedures is mandatory.
  • Physical Abilities: Must be capable of safely lifting up to 60 lbs. and standing/walking for up to 12 hours.
