Lactalis, a leading dairy company, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing production operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and driving productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Directly supervise production employees to maximize productivity and efficiency on assigned shifts and areas.
  • Quality and Safety: Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards, and maintain accurate records of production and quality control.
  • Process Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
  • Employee Development: Provide training and development opportunities to employees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance and QA, to ensure new products and processes meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to employees, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or HS/GED and minimum of 2 years plant supervisory experience.
  • Experience: 2 years' experience with food manufacturing, dairy production a plus.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
