Position Overview

As a Backhauler, you will collaborate with a small team to efficiently unload trailers filled with food items and organize products to align with warehouse standards.

+ Compensation: $15.00 per hour plus incentives

+ Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday to Friday, 5 AM to 1:30 PM

Your Contributions Will Include:

+ Receiving products, documenting code dates, and disassembling pallets in accordance with receiving protocols.

+ Consolidating un-palletized items onto pallets.

+ Transporting pallets from the dock to designated storage areas.

+ Operating electric pallet jacks, clamp machines, and sit-down forklifts to unload products from incoming trucks.

+ Maintaining productivity levels to avoid delays in product handling.

+ Travel Requirements: None

Your Work Environment May Include:

+ Freezer Warehouse (temperatures ranging from -20°F to 0°F)

+ Perishable Warehouse (temperatures ranging from 28°F to 60°F)

+ Grocery Warehouse (temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F)

Required Skills:

+ Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, carry, twist, bend, balance, see, hear, and manage paperwork. Must be capable of lifting objects weighing between 20 lbs. and 80 lbs. and occasionally pushing, sitting, touching, reaching, climbing, pulling, and gripping.

+ Special Skills: Proficiency in operating pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment (MHE). Strong communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is required.

+ Physical Abilities: Must be able to safely and efficiently lift up to 60 lbs. and stand/walk for up to 12 hours.
