OVERVIEW:


Marc Jacobs International, a leader in the fashion industry, is in search of a People Operations Specialist to become an integral part of our Human Resources team based in our headquarters.


Reporting directly to the Human Resources Director, this role is essential in delivering HR assistance to the corporate workforce.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the People Lifecycle, focusing on Employee Engagement, Employee Relations, Onboarding, Performance Management & Development, as well as HR Reporting and Administration.

The ideal applicant will possess a deep understanding of Marc Jacobs' operations, demonstrating a proactive approach to support both managers and employees through various lifecycle events.


RESPONSIBILITIES :

Employee Engagement & Onboarding:
Facilitate key HR initiatives such as organizational effectiveness, retention strategies, and compensation frameworks.


Engage in Employee Resource Groups, committees, and councils; assist in executing related activations, events, and initiatives focused on Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity & Inclusion.


Oversee the onboarding experience by conducting orientation sessions for new corporate hires, managing necessary documentation, and leading follow-up meetings.


Performance Management & Development:
Support the annual performance evaluation process and mid-year succession planning.


Collaborate on special projects with specialized HR teams (e.g., talent acquisition, learning and development) to enhance the effectiveness of HR initiatives.


Identify opportunities for development within the organization and propose solutions-based recommendations, including policies, training needs, and recognition programs.


Employee Relations:
Provide guidance and support to management on employee performance matters, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary procedures.

Assist with performance improvement plans, investigations, terminations, and employee relations issues.

Analyze employee relations trends in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies.

HR Reporting and Administration:
Regularly analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.

Manage the Leave Process in conjunction with the Compensation and Benefits team.

Offer Human Resources policy guidance and interpretation to the business.

Act as the primary contact for all HR administrative functions across various organizational levels.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience in Human Resources is required.

Strong HR sensibility and critical thinking abilities.

Excellent time management and follow-through capabilities.

Proficient in computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.

Ability to handle confidential matters with maturity and discretion.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – able to engage with all levels of employees.

A genuine passion for people.

Must be available to work onsite in the office multiple days per week.

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:
The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000-$80,000 (annually). The offered salary will be based on the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
