Role Summary

The People Insights Team is on the lookout for an Analyst, People Insights, who will work under the guidance of the Manager, People Insights.

This role is integral to all HR functions, promoting a data-centric methodology by generating precise and timely reports, dashboards, and analytics that support informed and strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a meticulous individual with a strong enthusiasm for data analysis and human resources, contributing to the organization's success. Candidates should possess robust reporting and visualization skills, alongside exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a familiarity in People systems, data, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work from the New York City office.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to comprehend reporting needs and convert them into impactful reports and dashboards.
  • Extract, manipulate, and analyze workforce data from various sources to develop and sustain reports and dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Design, construct, and uphold a variety of reports, including standard, custom, and ad-hoc reports tailored to business requirements.
  • Guarantee data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and validations to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Create visually engaging and comprehensible reports and dashboards to convey complex HR data to stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and enhance reporting processes to boost efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Support all corporate and business functions globally by delivering accurate data and reports (both ad hoc and recurring) promptly.
  • Assist stakeholders in effectively utilizing Workday reports by providing training and developing process documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy and security regulations while managing sensitive employee information.

Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in HR Analytics and People Insights.
  • Entry to 3 years of experience in analytics.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, reporting, and visualization using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar.
  • Ability to understand or learn business needs and propose suitable data and reporting solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders while working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professionalism.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a quick learning ability and adaptability to new technologies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of People functions and processes such as recruiting, compensation, benefits, performance management, diversity, and engagement.
  • Experience working with People data (e.g., hires, headcount, turnover, performance, diversity metrics) and People systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle, ADP).
  • Experience in data extraction and wrangling using software such as SQL, R, Python, Alteryx.
  • Experience in designing reports and dashboards for audit and governance, as well as tracking talent metrics and trends.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving typical data inconsistencies and anomalies.
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM or similar HRIS tools.
