Position Overview

About the Role:

As a Clinical Services Supervisor, you will engage in comprehensive training in the Multisystemic Therapy (MST) framework while collaborating with families, adolescents, their communities, and other essential stakeholders to implement MST effectively. This evidence-based approach has demonstrated significant success in addressing the needs of youth transitioning from residential treatment for mental health issues, trauma, and, in some instances, substance use challenges. Your role will empower families to tackle difficult behaviors and facilitate transformative changes in the lives of adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the agency's core values and organizational objectives.
  • Participate in all MST-related training sessions, including orientation and ongoing professional development.
  • Oversee clinical and administrative functions for assigned MST Coaches and programs.
  • Conduct individual and group supervision sessions weekly with MST Coaches and support staff to ensure adherence to the MST model and facilitate monthly evaluations.
  • Attend additional agency training as recommended.
  • Review and provide feedback on weekly progress notes to ensure compliance with relevant mandates.
  • Be available for 24/7 support to clinical and administrative MST staff, offering guidance and conflict resolution.
  • Engage in bi-weekly supervision meetings with Case Planner Supervisors to discuss progress towards reunification goals.
  • Promote MST services through workshops and training sessions for staff and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Family Team Conferences to monitor cases appropriate for MST services.
  • Manage and report on clinical outcomes and program service practices.
  • Implement interventions within the youth's natural environment, addressing influences from family, peers, school, and community.
  • Participate in monthly meetings to assess readiness for MST services in relation to relevant policies.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities, including interviewing potential staff and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Utilize pragmatic family therapies, including individual therapy with adolescents and adults, marital therapy, and behavioral interventions targeting academic performance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Preferred experience in child welfare and working with at-risk youth in various settings.
  • Significant clinical experience in addressing serious antisocial behaviors in youth is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with a valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with pragmatic family therapies.
  • Proficiency in cognitive-behavioral techniques for therapy with children and adults.
  • Experience in couples therapy using behaviorally-based methods.
  • Ability to implement interventions across various systems affecting youth behavior.
  • Collaboration with community organizations.
  • Previous experience providing in-home or community-based therapeutic services.

Compensation: $62,000 - $65,000
