Position Type: Full-Time (75 hours biweekly)
Work Schedule: Day Shift
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
Compensation: $68.96 per hour, based on educational qualifications and years of experience. Additional differentials for evening and night shifts, where applicable.
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse coordinates a patient-centered team to deliver direct and collaborative healthcare across various clinical environments aimed at promoting and restoring optimal health throughout the patient’s life. This role employs all aspects of the nursing process to provide care that acknowledges individual, cultural, and spiritual diversities and respects patient rights. The nurse utilizes expertise in case management to ensure comprehensive, coordinated, and seamless care for individuals and groups. The position involves facilitating the patient-provider relationship throughout the care continuum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop immediate and long-term care plans for patients, involving both the patient and their family in the process.
- Prioritize patient needs and make decisions demonstrating sound judgment.
- Continuously monitor patients' clinical conditions and assess for significant changes.
- Maintain clear communication with patients, family members, physicians, and team members to ensure all patient needs are addressed.
- Administer medications safely and punctually, adhering to hospital policies.
- Perform venipuncture and initiate intravenous lines with safety as a priority.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical environment.
- At least 1 year of experience in coronary care.
