Position Type: Part-Time (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
Shift Timing: Mid-Shift
Working Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Compensation: $37.00 Hourly
Role Summary:
The Patient Access Supervisor plays a crucial role in collaborating with the hospital's administrative team to enhance financial planning, support decision-making, and address financial challenges.
- Oversee staffing and team management
- Conduct financial assessments and manage revenue cycles
- Integrate information across Revenue Cycle and other departments
- Assist in the development and enforcement of policies and procedures
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards
- Contribute to the execution of the hospital's strategic initiatives
- Support the preparation of departmental budgets
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a consistently outstanding patient experience
- Manage daily operations and lead team members
- Perform regular quality audits
- Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
- Implement work assignment plans and adjust as necessary
- Orient, train, and continuously develop staff for optimal performance
- Assist in conducting periodic and annual performance evaluations
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of college education or relevant hospital experience, including direct customer interaction
- Preferred experience in a supervisory or lead role within the Patient Access department or related Revenue Cycle area
