As a pivotal figure within the executive leadership, the
Chief Information Officer (CIO) will spearhead the strategic and operational oversight of our organization's information and technology domains.

The CIO will be tasked with directing the creation and execution of comprehensive IT systems across the enterprise, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures, and harnessing technology to propel business achievements.

This position requires a forward-thinking leader capable of integrating IT with business functions to improve service delivery and support sustainable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establishing and executing IT policies and frameworks that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Leading the strategic and operational planning of IT to meet business goals by promoting innovation, prioritizing IT projects, and coordinating the assessment, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems.

Collaborating with executive leadership to ensure that the company's information technology aligns with strategic priorities.
Managing the IT department's staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
Setting departmental goals, objectives, and operational procedures.

Identifying opportunities for effective and economical investment of financial resources in IT systems, including staffing, sourcing, purchasing, and in-house development.

Evaluating and communicating risks associated with IT investments.

Formulating and maintaining a comprehensive plan for organization-wide IT security to safeguard IT assets and ensure data integrity.

Additional responsibilities as assigned, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
In-depth understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage solutions.
Strong strategic and business acumen.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage large-scale IT projects from inception to execution.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multiple cross-functional teams or projects and influencing senior management and key stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
Relevant industry experience.
Proven success in developing IT strategies that align with business objectives.
Prior experience in budget management and fiscal reporting.

CERTIFICATIONS:

Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or similar are highly desirable.

Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
