Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement IT strategies that align with the overarching goals of the organization.
  • Lead and mentor the NorAM IT team, fostering professional growth and effective team management.
  • Oversee the architecture, deployment, and upkeep of IT solutions within the NorAM region.
  • Engage with senior leadership and departmental heads to pinpoint IT requirements and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Administer budgets, resources, and vendor partnerships to maximize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to both regional and global IT policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement within the IT functions of NorAM.
  • Serve as a bridge between NorAM business units and corporate IT to ensure cohesive communication and alignment on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior IT leadership capacity with a robust understanding of IT operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT application landscapes, including ERP and Sales Force Automation; familiarity with SAP S4 or SAP ECC is advantageous.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across various departments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, emphasizing the delivery of business value through IT initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP, along with an understanding of industry best practices.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in a multinational or global corporate environment.
  • Background in the consumer goods sector.
  • Proven success in leading IT teams and executing complex IT projects.
