Position Summary:

The Field Service Deployment Specialist plays a crucial role in coordinating internal and external resources to deliver top-tier service. This position requires a deep understanding of client needs and the ability to effectively manage resources, both personnel and materials, to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of field service operations.
  • Schedule and dispatch Field Service Technicians, tools, and spare parts to job sites to meet client requirements.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary tools for scheduled tasks.
  • Communicate schedule commitments to Service Technicians.
  • Prepare comprehensive Job Information Packets for Field Service Technicians, including drawings, datasheets, and job history.
  • Facilitate parts orders to support on-site technicians and expedite shipments.
  • Manage customer purchase orders and intercompany transactions related to assigned tasks.
  • Monitor service order costs and notify clients when costs approach 75% of the purchase order.
  • Oversee the change order process to prevent delays in invoicing.
  • Provide data for accurate weekly forecasts and 30-day outlooks.
  • Review field documentation for completeness before invoicing.
  • Maintain and update Salesforce information for effective monitoring by stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and workflows to enhance field service performance.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for Field Service Technicians.
  • Provide after-hours support and maintain call schedules.
  • Conduct post-job follow-ups to ensure all actions are completed.
  • Assist in providing service quotes to customers.
  • Support the commissioning schedules for new construction projects.
  • Collaborate with Technical Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
  • Maintain an updated database for Field Service Employees and Contractors.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a related field or field service role.
  • Familiarity with company products and service-related practices.
  • Understanding of contracts and contract management.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Vision requirements include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
