The Associate Territory Manager will play a key role in establishing new accounts and maintaining existing relationships within the assigned territory. This role will also support product marketing efforts, including trade shows, seminars, and webinars, as well as assist sales teams in developing and executing their sales strategies.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders within the assigned territory.
- Manage customer service issues related to products or services provided by other departments.
- Negotiate contracts on behalf of customers and determine pricing structures based on market conditions and client ability to pay.
- Develop and implement effective communication plans for each account, ensuring consistency with corporate guidelines and objectives.
- Identify potential new markets through research and develop strategies for penetration.
- Conduct initial meetings with prospective clients to discuss requirements and provide information on available resources.
- Provide guidance and training to employees involved in the sale process.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, taking notes, and preparing reports.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3 years general sales experience.
- Experience working in a team environment, particularly with sales people.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Good judgment and maturity.
- Ability to travel 80%, including overnight travel.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.
- Must be able to meet and maintain customer/medical facility access requirements.
