Position Overview:

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is in search of a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist (Level III) to engage in a hybrid work model, combining both on-site and remote responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the creation and execution of cyber information assurance (IA) protocols, alongside security standards and procedures.
  • Coordinates, formulates, and assesses security initiatives for the organization, undertaking analysis, design, and development of security features.
  • Evaluates general information assurance-related technical challenges and provides foundational engineering and technical support in addressing these issues.
  • Conducts vulnerability and risk assessments of systems and applications throughout all stages of the system development life cycle.
  • Assists in the management and escalation of security incidents following a tiered Incident Response strategy.
  • Possesses experience in threat analysis and hunting, with proficiency in multiple SIEMs and analyst detection workflows in cloud environments.
  • Engages in entry-level or developmental assignments, constructing and deploying cloud security frameworks while automating security operations for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with the capability to obtain and sustain CI Poly is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in cyber security is essential.
  • Certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) OR Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) OR GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) OR Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in supporting agencies such as DIA, NGA, or NRO is advantageous.
  • Experience in providing support to DoD clients is preferred.
