POSITION SUMMARY:


The Junior Software Quality Assurance Specialist will join a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality solutions for a defense-related aerial monitoring system.

This role involves supporting software for a comprehensive application that integrates external sensors, recorded video, and still images. The specialist will engage in software and system evaluation, which encompasses test design, execution, and analysis. A security clearance eligibility is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the QA team and software engineers to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Define, document, analyze, execute, and interpret tests for various products, systems, components, or enhancements.
Identify and troubleshoot functional issues while proposing effective solutions.
Establish internal quality assurance benchmarks and oversee reliability initiatives.
Document and assess test scenarios, providing regular updates on progress.
Ensure that testing methodologies align with relevant industry standards.
May liaise with vendors or suppliers to adapt or create testing protocols for components or other elements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
0-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Familiarity with Software Testing Tools and Bug Tracking Systems.
Proficient in Jira and Confluence.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients.
Exceptional written communication abilities for producing detailed and precise technical documentation.
Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance.
