Position Overview:

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is in search of a Cyber Security Specialist (Level II) to engage in a hybrid work model, balancing on-site responsibilities with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will play a vital role in the formulation and execution of cyber information assurance (IA) protocols, alongside security standards and operational procedures. This includes:

  • Coordinating, developing, and assessing security initiatives within the organization.
  • Conducting analysis, design, and enhancement of security features.
  • Addressing general information assurance-related technical challenges and providing foundational engineering and technical support.
  • Performing vulnerability and risk assessments of systems and applications throughout the entire system development life cycle.
  • Assisting in the management and escalation of security incidents following a tiered Incident Response framework.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in threat analysis and hunting, along with experience in utilizing multiple SIEMs and analyst detection workflows in cloud environments.
  • Engaging in entry-level or developmental assignments.
  • Building and deploying cloud security infrastructure while automating security operations for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with the capability to obtain and sustain a CI Poly is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the cyber security domain is essential.
  • Certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) OR Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) OR CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner+ (CASP+ ce) OR Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) is required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience supporting agencies such as DIA, NGA, or NRO is advantageous.
  • Experience in providing support to DoD customers is preferred.
