We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Midwest region. As a key member of our Commercial organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives growth and revenue in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales plan with specific goals and targets to maximize sales growth in the current rare disease market.
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, including recruiting and hiring Therapeutic Specialists and Regional Directors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Patient Services, Medical, Legal, and Compliance, to achieve shared business objectives.
- Maintain exceptional knowledge of disease state, product, customer, orphan/rare drug market, specialty drug market, competitive products, and the broader healthcare marketplace.
- Foster an entrepreneurial culture with a focus on ownership and accountability to maximize individual and Company goals.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Successful product launch experience required as a second-line sales leader.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in biotech/pharma sales and sales leadership.
- Product portfolio leadership experience required.
- Rare disease/pulmonary experience preferred.
