Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in corporate and foundation fundraising. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships with corporate and foundation partners, identifying and securing support for our mission. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Washington, DC, with a flexible telecommuting policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate and foundation donor strategy to meet fundraising goals and objectives.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors through proactive cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts.
  • Conduct prospect research to identify and prioritize potential corporate and foundation donors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and foundation partners through personalized communication, meetings, site visits, and events.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop compelling funding proposals, impact reports, and other materials for corporate partner solicitation.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, International Development, Political Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate fundraising, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and solicitation skills, both oral and written.
  • General CRM skills, with experience in Salesforce preferred.
  • History of managing projects independently from inception to completion.
  • Independent thinker and self-starter.
  • Discretion concerning sensitive and confidential donor information.
  • Fluency in English is required; French proficiency is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and ethically in international settings with multicultural teams and technical and administrative staff.
What We Offer

CorpsAfrica offers a competitive salary range of $115,000-$125,000, paid time off, pension/retirement, health, and other benefits.
