Digital Fundraising Coordinator

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is seeking a highly skilled Digital Fundraising Coordinator to join our dynamic communications team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in defending our democracy by developing and implementing effective digital fundraising strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital fundraising, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a liaison between the Development and Digital teams, providing valuable insights into planned donor outreach activities.
  • Collaborate on sharp and timely digital fundraising content, for both grassroots and high-dollar donors that utilizes CREW's unique voice, informs readers, and inspires donors to contribute.
  • Manage the editing, coding, targeting, and approval process for grassroots fundraising emails.
  • Coordinate with the Development team on online engagement opportunities for donors.
  • Create an optimized user experience for online donors, including drafting, testing, and building donation pages.
  • Take the lead on managing and growing CREW's SMS fundraising program.
  • Manage analytics and testing for CREW's online fundraising program.
  • Monitor the response to CREW's emails and texts to hone in on winning messaging and general donor analytics.
  • Brainstorm digital messaging and programming calendar along with the digital team.
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4+ years of digital fundraising experience, including internships, preferably in nonprofit, government, campaign, or comparable setting.
  • Experience with the creation and management of time-sensitive materials.
  • Demonstrated commitment to producing superior written work.
  • Interest in government ethics and money in politics issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle competing tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfort with database management and timely updates.
  • Initiative to identify needs, take charge of tasks, and get things done in an exciting, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
