Job Summary

The Clinical Dietitian is a key member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to patients in various settings. This role involves overseeing oral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition support, as well as screening, assessing, educating, monitoring, and evaluating patients according to established practice guidelines and Nutrition Services policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and screenings to identify patients at risk
  • Develop and implement nutrition interventions to promote optimal health and minimize disease-related risk factors
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Current licensure to practice dietetics in South Carolina
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
