Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Prisma Health in Greenville, SC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide nutrition care and education to patients and/or caregivers, evaluating their nutritional status and developing personalized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement medical nutrition therapy to patients according to established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patients receiving nutrition support and provide education to patients, caregivers, staff, and community partners.
  • Serve as a preceptor for medical, dietetic, and food service interns and/or clinical research.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, patient rounds, and multidisciplinary committees.
  • Assist with performance and quality improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an Academy of Dietetics (AND) accredited institution and/or approved internship program.
  • Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Registration and South Carolina Dietetics License.
  • Maintain 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years.
  • Ability to interpret data, teach, communicate to other healthcare professionals, manipulate numbers, and write in medical records.
