Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' nutritional needs.
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments, including screening for malnutrition and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement nutrition interventions, such as patient education and counseling, to promote healthy eating habits and improve nutritional outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in clinical nutrition, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure to practice dietetics in South Carolina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
