Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Prisma Health. As a Pediatric Nutrition Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition care and education to patients and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medical nutrition therapy plans for patients according to established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patients receiving nutrition support and provide education to patients, caregivers, and staff.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, patient rounds, and multidisciplinary committees to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist with performance and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an Academy of Dietetics accredited institution and/or approved internship program.
  • Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) Registration and South Carolina Dietetics License.
  • Ability to interpret data, teach, communicate with healthcare professionals, and write in medical records.
