Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structured education programs to meet the needs of our clinical staff
  • Collaborate with learners and supervisors to plan and present educational activities
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted education programs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with current best practices and research in healthcare education and incorporate findings into education programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. healthcare education, nursing, health sciences)
  • 2+ years of experience in a clinical education or training role
  • Certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
