About the Role

The Account Manager position at Gartner is a sales role that focuses on contract value retention and growth through contract expansion by introducing new products and services. This role involves working with mid-sized client accounts with revenue targets up to $750 million per annum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic partner with C-level and senior executives across various organizations within an assigned territory of mid-sized organizations.
  • Manage and renew member research contracts.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations.
  • Convert viable prospects to active Gartner clients (members), leading the full sales conversation and negotiation and ongoing account management.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years of sales experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in consultative, senior-level B2B sales or similar.
  • A high level of commercial intellect, executive presence, and sales acumen.
