Job Overview

Compensation: $12.00 plus gratuities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (This list is not exhaustive and may include additional tasks)
  • Collect and dispose of bar waste using designated trash receptacles and transport to disposal area
  • Remove and clean rubber mats in accordance with health standards
  • Ensure cleanliness of floors by sweeping and mopping with sanitized solutions
  • Maintain clear and sanitary drains through regular cleaning and disinfecting
  • Utilize appropriate elevators and routes for efficient bar service
  • Report to the Food & Beverage Supervisor for daily task assignments
  • Stay informed about hotel events and the operational hours of all food and beverage venues
  • Conduct thorough cleaning, including sanitizing bottles and surfaces
  • Embody our core values, including family-style service, mission, and vision
  • Promote our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures
  • Proficient in building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and guests
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be eligible to obtain an alcohol awareness certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be necessary to fulfill essential job functions)
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
  • Mobility to navigate the property
  • Capability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel as needed
CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS: Employees are expected to uphold our core values and service standards, providing family-style service.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional service to both internal and external guests, possess strong communication and observational skills, and maintain a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment. Flexibility in scheduling is required, which may include working on weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
