Key Responsibilities

The Vice President of Engines Manufacturing will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cost-effective strategies and key deliverables for the Huntsville, AL and Kent, WA Blue Engines Manufacturing operations.

This includes overseeing the production execution of Engine Program BE3U and BE4 product models and any other engine variants, as well as potential Advanced Development Programs that are to be built in Huntsville and Kent.

The Executive will partner closely with all Operations Execution Leaders sharing lessons learned and standard processes, and will also partner closely with all collaborators within the Operations Organization to ensure current and future programs meet commitments with safety and quality at the forefront.

Requirements
  • 15+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience leading, managing, and growing a diverse team on fast-paced projects
  • Solid understanding and applied experiences in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System methods
  • Experience managing capital improvements and layout
  • Demonstrated experience leading organizations through large-scale change management initiatives
  • Highly effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • A demeanor of world-class mission assurance, quality, attention to detail, and dedication
Preferred Qualifications
  • 20+ years proven experience in manufacturing experience in aerospace or a closely related industry
  • Master's degree in engineering, operation, or business
  • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of materials management theories, processes, and practices
