We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Regal Rexnord Corp. This is a critical role that will play a key part in driving our manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, and improve existing assembly processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Investigate and evaluate new processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identify equipment and tooling problems and develop countermeasures to resolve them.
- Work closely with Production Team Leaders and other plant personnel to implement Lean Manufacturing projects.
- Develop robust manufacturing processes to produce products in the most efficient way possible.
- Evaluate and update tooling and workstations to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Coordinate technical activities with suppliers to introduce new purchased components and improve existing components.
- Review quotes for manufacturing feasibility and make design recommendations.
- Work with Product Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to implement internal product improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage the change process at the manufacturing level and implement Lean Manufacturing activities to drive continuous improvement programs.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and evaluate their use to improve products and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- CNC programming experience required.
- Experience working as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer preferred.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
- Tooling development and improvement experience.
- Experience working in an ISO-environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, assembly processes, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing techniques and principles.
