Manufacturing Process Specialist

At Ultra Maritime, EMS, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in naval warfare. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of our multi-mission solutions.
With a strong focus on quality and efficiency, you'll work closely with our Value Stream Leaders to develop and implement industry best practices, drive process improvements, and lead failure mode analysis activities.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing manufacturing flow charts, work instructions, and manufacturing BOMs, as well as supporting production operations and collaborating with our Design Engineering group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain manufacturing flow charts, work instructions, and manufacturing BOMs
- Support production operations and collaborate with our Design Engineering group
- Drive process improvements and lead failure mode analysis activities
- Collaborate with our Value Stream Leaders to develop and implement industry best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with other engineers
- Ability to diagnose problems in the production line and provide recommendations and training
- Knowledge of DMAIC, PFMEA, and other quality tools
Preferred Skills:
- Strong skills in design analysis and design for manufacturing
- Experience in the manufacturing of electronic systems utilizing lean and six sigma processes
