Job Title: Market Sales Leader

Aon is seeking a seasoned Market Sales Leader to drive growth and lead the sales function within our Health Solutions division. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing annual sales plans, managing a sales-focused culture, and identifying top production talent in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive growth and achieve annual new business goals
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans, consistent with objectives set by the practice and market
  • Develop and maintain a sales-focused culture across the office/market
  • Identify and recruit top production talent in market
  • Lead sales activities for a defined geography
  • Coach, mentor, and assist colleagues in achievement of their personal and overall market goals
  • Channel management strategy, execution & coaching, to encompass Health new and expanded sales from sales channels such as Health and Risk Account Executives (AEs), Health and Risk Producers, Strategic AEs, Innovation and Integrated Solution Leaders, Human Capital, etc.
  • Coordination & execution of marketing events and sales follow-up action plans, in close collaboration with marketing personnel
  • Administration of Health Sales Operations, including sales goal setting and allocation, pipeline analysis and reporting, revenue recognition, new business forecasting and pipeline management:
  • Point person for resourcing initial prospect meetings/closing details
  • Assist/coach on presentations and finalist meetings
  • Competitive analyses and review or sales performance and positioning
Requirements:
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of Health and Human Capital businesses and the potential for integrated opportunities
  • Influences colleagues to work together effectively within and across business lines nationally, regionally, and globally
  • Targets new and existing clients with values-based solutions
  • Proactively and consistently interact and communicate with prospects, clients, market partners
  • Lead local market recruiting efforts and maintain current knowledge of talent in the market
  • Produce at minimum, one times annual salary
