Provide on-site Test & Evaluation (T&E) Cybersecurity Systems Assurance support to our Navy client.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle management of F/A-18 and EA-18G accreditations with minimal oversight.

Coordinate the execution of each phase of the Department of Defense's Risk Management Framework for designated accreditations.

Engage in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) by collaborating directly with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Leadership teams.

Initiate requests for temporary and permanent exceptions, deviations, or waivers to Information Assurance/Cybersecurity requirements.

Assist the appropriate leadership or Authorizing Official in addressing changes that impact the Information Assurance/Cybersecurity posture of the organization and its initiatives.

Ensure the effective implementation and operation of security requirements and relevant IT policies and procedures that align with the organization's mission and objectives.


Support Cybersecurity accreditation for specialized information systems, including integration with embedded IT, tactical equipment, and avionics.

Develop and/or enforce policies and procedures to safeguard critical infrastructure as necessary.

Ensure that plans of action and milestones or remediation strategies are established for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, and inspections (RMF controls, JSIG Rev 4, SSP & POA&M).


Guarantee that Information Assurance/Cybersecurity inspections, tests, and evaluations are conducted and coordinate actions throughout the Risk Management Framework lifecycle.

Ensure that protective and detection capabilities are acquired or developed in alignment with the organization-level Information Assurance architecture.

Support development initiatives to confirm that baseline security measures are properly implemented.

Participate in an information security risk assessment during the Security Assessment and Authorization process.

Contribute to the creation or revision of the Information Assurance/Cybersecurity security program plans and requirements for the computing environment.

Prepare, disseminate, and maintain plans, instructions, guidance, and standard operating procedures regarding the security of network system operations.

Identify potential security violations and take appropriate actions to report incidents as required.

Support necessary cybersecurity compliance activities (e.g., ensure adherence to system security configuration guidelines, conduct compliance monitoring, etc.).

Collect and maintain data necessary to fulfill system Information Assurance/Cybersecurity reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Due to the sensitive nature of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

A Bachelor's degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience will also be considered.

Candidates with a high school diploma and 10 years of relevant experience or those with an Associate's degree and 4 years of relevant experience will also be considered.


Must be able to work on-site - This position is not eligible for remote work.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with external agencies and work independently with minimal supervision.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively while overcoming challenges to meet aggressive project timelines.

Exhibit high moral character and integrity.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance throughout the duration of employment.

Security + Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Federal, DoD, and USMC Guidance (DoDD 8500.1, DoDI, DITSCAP, DIACAP, NIACAP, NIST 800-53, and Certification Accreditation processes).

Experience with general Information Assurance/Cybersecurity Tools (SPLUNK/QMULOS) and Continuous Monitoring (CONMON).

Knowledge of Risk Management Framework, eMass, ACAS, HBSS, Nessus.
