Overview: We are seeking a Strategic Business Partnerships Manager to enhance our operations in Mexico, specifically targeting the import/export sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate robust, long-lasting relationships with business clients through collaboration with key strategic partners in the Mexican import/export ecosystem, including Marketplaces, logistics, marketing service providers, and financial services.
  • Lead the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, ensuring timely agreements and driving revenue growth.
  • Develop comprehensive business collaboration proposals that align with our strategic objectives and partner needs, negotiating effectively to achieve results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements, representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to manage expectations and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with all supporting departments, ensuring seamless collaboration with technical and product teams.
  • Engage with prospective clients, building relationships with C-Level executives and identifying key decision-makers.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage your sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
  • Negotiate client terms in alignment with internal resources for implementation and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Merchant service team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for clients while maintaining a high-quality client experience.

Requirements:

  • Experience in SaaS companies is preferred.
  • Established customer base within the Mexican market.
  • Ability to connect with Mexican SMEs across various product lines.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Native-level proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong networking capabilities with a focus on C-level relationships in international trade, particularly with merchants importing from China.
  • 7+ years of sales experience in Finance/technology, ideally within payments or foreign exchange.
  • Proven track record as a relentless new business hunter.
  • Strategic thinker with a history of innovative approaches to target markets.
  • Experience in consultative sales processes, including developing client-specific strategies and risk assessments.
  • Proficient in structuring and closing high-impact enterprise solutions.
  • Strong ability to maintain complex, long-term client relationships.
