We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to enhance our customer support and contribute to our dynamic team of problem solvers.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, your responsibilities will include analyzing test outcomes and collaborating with development teams to address bugs. You will investigate the root causes of performance challenges and recommend corrective measures. Additionally, you will create automated testing scenarios and environments for performance assessments, review existing testing protocols for enhancements, and work with the testing team to formulate performance test strategies and cases. You will also research software issues through testing to validate feedback, response times, and error codes, as well as design and develop automation scripts for testing purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant hands-on experience
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Java, React, Angular, Gitlab, RHEL, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, and Python
  • Ability to utilize all web methods including GET, PUT, POST, DELETE, etc.
  • Experience validating XML and JSON bodies using JSON parsers
  • Familiarity with OAuth and OAuth2 authentication methods
  • Experience in loading and security testing for web services
  • Expertise in designing and developing automation scripts for testing
  • Knowledge of test automation best practices
  • Willingness to obtain SAFe for Teams, ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Agile Technical Tester, and Implementing Test Process Improvement certifications within the first year
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous
  • Must obtain CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification within the first 90 days of employment

  • SAFe for Teams, ISTQB Test Automation Engineer, Agile Technical Tester, and Implementing Test Process Improvement certifications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret security clearance

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work model available
  • Potential travel requirements up to 10%

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $95,000 - $140,000
  • Compensation is determined based on comprehensive experience, demonstrated skills, and proven capabilities
