Job Overview

Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to contribute to the operational maintenance and support of critical ground-based radar systems for the US Space Force, Space Systems Command. This role is essential for ensuring the effectiveness of systems that play a vital role in strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space monitoring missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the preparation and execution of detailed subsystem and enterprise-level testing strategies and protocols.
  • Document testing requirements and methodologies within the requirements management framework.
  • Assist in the formulation of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software and hardware integration testing.
  • Innovate and develop advanced Test Automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with software development teams focusing on DevSecOps methodologies.
  • Facilitate system and element-level test planning and readiness evaluations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with fourteen or more years of experience; Master's degree with twelve or more years of experience; or a PhD/JD with nine or more years of experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Proven experience leading testing and automation teams within Department of Defense environments.
  • Experience with requirements management tools, such as DOORS.
  • Proficient in using discrepancy management tools, such as Jira.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment tools, including Bamboo.
  • Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or higher.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in sustaining ground-based radar systems such as UEWR and/or PARCS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages including Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, Bash, Tcl, etc.
