Your responsibilities will encompass testing, assessing, and overseeing our products and production processes to guarantee they consistently meet and surpass quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with process leaders and departmental heads to enhance quality control measures and manage Non-Conformance (NC), Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA), and other Quality Management issues.
- Identify and implement significant enhancements within the Quality System and Production to optimize organizational performance.
- Act as the quality representative in technical support scenarios, partnering with other internal teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Supervise the documentation, tracking, and resolution of Quality issues and Change Control procedures.
- Establish and uphold clear quality standards, ensuring adherence to guidelines across all operations.
- Keep work instructions current and ensure compliance throughout the organization.
- Document and enforce customer quality expectations.
- Contribute to the upkeep and revisions of the Quality Management System (QMS), including training databases, incident reports, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and conduct Supplier Quality Audits.
- Set and monitor quality metrics throughout the production cycle to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Examine materials for defects, analyze root causes of technical challenges, and propose effective solutions.
- Prepare and submit necessary quality documentation, including FAIs, audit reports, and inspection records.
- Work with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction through improved product quality.
- Coordinate with external quality auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science, or a related STEM discipline is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years in quality engineering or assurance, ideally within a technical manufacturing context (e.g., aerospace, medical).
Competencies: A solid understanding of Quality Management Systems, along with exceptional reporting and project management capabilities.
