Tekberry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Technician to support our client, a leading American electronics manufacturer. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and functionality of precision electronic components.
Compensation: $25-$29/hour, depending on experience.
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision coverage available from the first of the month following your start date.
Employment Type: Contract position for a duration of 2 years.
Work Schedule: Day shifts available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the testing and quality assurance of manufactured electronic parts.
- Conduct mechanical measurements of high-frequency electronic components to verify their accuracy and functionality.
- Utilize technical skills to analyze, develop, and implement solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Clarify and address technical issues while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications:
- Relevant education or specialized training/certification is required.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to interpret blueprints.
- Experience with mechanical metrology tools is essential.
- Familiarity with automated software platforms is advantageous; strong computer skills (MS Windows/Office) are mandatory.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities are necessary.
- Demonstrated competence in both electronic and mechanical fields.
- Ability to work towards clearly defined objectives and solve technical problems of limited scope.
- Capability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Commitment to ethical business practices and team goals.
- High standards of workmanship and reliability in meeting commitments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines and Optical Surface Profilers.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as NX or Solidworks.
