Tekberry is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Technician to support our client, a prominent electronics manufacturer. This role offers a competitive pay rate ranging from $25 to $29 per hour, depending on experience.
Employment Type: Contract position with a duration of 2 years.
Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage available starting from the first of the month after your start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical measurements of precision-engineered electronic components to ensure optimal functionality and precision.
- Utilize technical skills to clarify, analyze, and implement solutions while collaborating with Keysight technicians and Process Engineers.
- Support the testing and quality assurance processes for manufactured equipment.
Requirements:
- Educational background or specialized training in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with mechanical metrology tools and automated software platforms is advantageous.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Demonstrated competence in both electronic and mechanical systems.
- Ability to solve technical issues of limited scope and complexity.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and business ethics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines and Optical Surface Profilers.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as NX or Solidworks.
