Position Overview:

Note: Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the designated area to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.


Primary Responsibilities:


Surgeons around the globe are revolutionizing surgical practices by leveraging our robotic surgical system to enhance precision and improve patient outcomes.

The Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) is focused on strategically promoting the utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System within the assigned territory.


Key Duties:


- Collaborate with the Clinical Sales Manager to formulate a sales strategy aimed at increasing robot utilization.
- Provide mentorship to surgical teams through training sessions, operating room integration, and da Vinci Surgery applications.
- Serve as a resource for da Vinci Surgery across various surgical specialties.
- Support regional sales and marketing initiatives that enhance system awareness and procedure adoption.
- Develop tailored da Vinci Surgery plans for each surgical team to ensure independent system usage.
- Drive the expansion of the user base by engaging with key opinion leaders.
- Promote the sales of instruments and accessories.
- Mentor new team members to elevate their performance within the clinical sales team.
- Efficiently manage administrative responsibilities, sales activities, and expense report submissions.

This position may be filled at a lower level depending on qualifications.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in healthcare sales.
- A strong ambition and work ethic.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% and work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Familiarity with the operating room environment is preferred.
