Position:
Part-time role located in a vibrant area of the city, with weekend availability required.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will assist in various administrative and clinical functions to support our healthcare providers and patients. Duties include:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients both in person and over the phone
  • Processing payments and discussing financing options
  • Updating patient information in the electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Collecting necessary patient documentation
  • Coordinating appointment scheduling and managing phone communications
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized reception area
  • Facilitating patient flow by informing providers of arrivals and delays
  • Addressing patient inquiries and directing concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Preparing examination rooms and assisting in back-office tasks as needed
  • Providing support to patients as they leave the facility
  • Restocking supplies as required

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assistant certification or diploma is advantageous

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Outstanding customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including EMRs, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Experience working with diverse populations; bilingual skills are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking capabilities
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
