Job Summary

PacificSource is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee sales and broker activities for Medicare products and services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring compliance with regulations, and building strong relationships with members, providers, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Medicare product sales and broker activities to achieve sales and retention goals, support the Company's brand, and effectively promote Medicare products and services.
  • Utilize strategic management principles to streamline processes and facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Execute sales strategies directed towards members, brokers, and the general public, monitoring activities and analyzing results to measure effectiveness.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Federal and State regulations, health insurance markets, field concepts and practices, and industry trends.
  • Build relationships with members, providers, and the community to maximize market penetration and promote the company's brand, products, and services.
  • Develop, train, and monitor effectiveness of brokers promoting Medicare products.
  • Participate in various external committees and community events, representing company philosophy and preserving visibility within the community.
  • Collaborate closely with other Medicare Regional Sales Managers, Marketing & Communications, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to ensure collaboration, coordination of initiatives, consistency in messaging and brand, and effective promotion of Medicare products and services.
Supporting Responsibilities:
  • Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
  • Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years' work experience in sales or marketing in the insurance or related field.
  • Managed care experience preferred.
  • Management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor degree is preferred.
  • Licensed with the State of residence as a health insurance producer in order to represent the product and company, or obtain such licensing within 90 days of employment.
  • Valid Motor Vehicles License.

Environment:

Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment. Travel is required approximately 35% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

Stoop and bend. Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time while performing core job functions. Repetitive motions to include typing, sorting, and filing. Light lifting and carrying of files and business materials. Ability to read and comprehend both written and spoken English. Communicate clearly and effectively.
