Key Responsibilities:- Oversee Medicare product sales and broker activities to achieve sales and retention goals, support the Company's brand, and effectively promote Medicare products and services.
- Utilize business development strategies to streamline processes and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Execute sales strategies directed towards members, brokers, and the general public, monitoring activities and analyzing results to measure effectiveness.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Federal and State regulations, health insurance markets, business concepts and practices, and industry trends.
- Build relationships with members, providers, and the community to maximize market penetration and promote the company's brand, products, and services.
- Develop, train, and monitor effectiveness of brokers promoting Medicare products.
- Participate in various external committees and community events, representing company philosophy and preserving visibility within the community.
- Collaborate closely with other Medicare Sales Directors, Marketing & Communications, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to ensure collaboration, coordination of initiatives, consistency in messaging and brand, and effective promotion of Medicare products and services.
- Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.
- Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of five years' work experience in sales or business development in the insurance or related field.
- Managed care experience preferred.
- Management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Bachelor degree is preferred.
- Licensed with the State of residence as a health insurance producer in order to represent the product and company, or obtain such licensing within 90 days of employment.
- Valid Motor Vehicles License.

Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment. Travel is required approximately 35% of the time.
