Transformative Role in Education Technology

Tomax Think Academy is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive growth and expansion in the education market. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging potential opportunities, building meaningful relationships with key decision-makers, and laying the groundwork for successful sales engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Utilize multiple channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events, to identify and engage potential opportunities within the education sector.
  • Qualification: Conduct thorough research to understand the needs, pain points, and purchasing behaviors of prospective clients, and qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including administrators, IT professionals, and educators, to effectively position our products and services as solutions.
  • Solution Presentation: Articulate the value proposition of our software solutions to prospects through compelling presentations and demonstrations, tailored to address specific pain points and showcase how our offerings can address their needs.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain accurate records of all interactions with leads and prospects using CRM software, and continuously update and prioritize leads to ensure a steady flow of opportunities for the sales team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach campaigns, refine messaging, and optimize lead generation strategies, providing valuable insights and feedback to enhance the effectiveness of our sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in lead generation, sales, or business development role, preferably within the education or software industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the education sector, including key trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements, is a plus.
