Business Development Representative

GitLab is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Representative to join our growing Revenue Marketing team. As a BDR at GitLab, you will be responsible for leading the initial outreach to targeted Enterprise accounts, working in conjunction with the Field and Digital Marketing teams. Your primary goal will be to leverage creative marketing and sales tactics to prospect and engage with multiple buyer personas and roles to introduce GitLab's value.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating qualified meetings and pipeline for GitLab's Sales organization. You will work closely with the Sales team to understand their needs and develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities. You will also be responsible for conducting high-level discovery conversations in target accounts, meeting or exceeding BDR sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets, and collaborating with teammates to develop targeted lists and messaging.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in sales development, marketing, and/or sales, with a proven track record of successful, credible achievements. You should have excellent written and spoken English, as well as proficiency in using Salesforce and LinkedIn. Additionally, you should have a shared interest in our values and be able to work in accordance with those values.
