We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Residences Waikiki Beach. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities- Process all guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys.
- Manage all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
- Process check-outs, resolving any late or disputed charges.
- Respond to guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest.
- Run daily reports, identify special requests, and check reports for accuracy.
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system.
- Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift.
- Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No license or certification required.
