As a Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for leading the front office team and ensuring the smooth operation of all front office functions. This includes managing the front desk, guest services, and retail/gift shop, as well as supervising and training staff. You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction and financial goals, while maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring the overall success of the front office department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the front office team to achieve guest satisfaction and financial goals
- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality operations
- Manage front office functions, including the front desk, guest services, and retail/gift shop
- Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Monitor and control department expenses to achieve budgeted goals
- Ensure compliance with all front office policies, standards, and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests, employees, and other departments to ensure a positive and productive work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 4 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
