Role Overview:
The Senior Manager will oversee the management of the Visa Direct portfolio within the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. This includes responsibilities such as managing the Product Roadmap, addressing local Product Enhancement requests, adapting products for regional needs, and communicating product information to clients. Additionally, the role involves gathering competitive intelligence and developing sales materials to support the sales teams in enhancing their effectiveness.
This position necessitates a strong understanding of the payment industry and requires collaboration with Global Visa Direct Product teams as well as LAC Specialized Sales, Commercialization, Solutioning, and Network Readiness teams to create a cohesive suite of money movement solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
Identifying customer requirements for new product development or enhancements, localizing Visa Direct offerings for the LAC market, managing the Product Roadmap, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing sales teams with necessary materials.
Competitive Analysis:
Assessing the competitive landscape to understand how Visa's products compare, aiding in strategic decisions regarding product features, positioning, and pricing.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Engaging with various teams including global product development, solutioning, network, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure successful product launches.
Stakeholder Communication:
Maintaining regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders to keep them informed about Visa's money movement solutions and to collect their feedback.
This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring employees to work from the office 2-3 designated days a week, with a general expectation of being in the office at least 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be proactive and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. They should possess exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, organizational skills, and interpersonal capabilities. Experience in the banking and payments sector is essential, along with a background in Product Management at a global or multi-market level.
Business acumen in the payment industry is required, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s Degree, or 5 years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
We seek a creative self-starter with a strong inclination towards action and a proven track record in developing, launching, and commercializing technology products that meet customer needs. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction are essential.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and executive presence are necessary, with the ability to convey complex business and technical concepts in an accessible manner to influence and drive adoption.
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is between $125,500.00 and $182,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments. Salary may vary based on job-related factors including knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonuses and equity.
