Key Responsibilities

Account executives are essential to the agency, managing both transactional and relational dynamics between clients, insurers, and agency staff. The role includes, but is not limited to:

Providing proactive support to producers while nurturing and enhancing client relationships through exceptional service and strategic advice. Leading and supervising a team of account managers is also required. Candidates must demonstrate analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational abilities, reliability, foresight, and the capability to connect various aspects of the business. Strong problem-solving skills, comprehensive knowledge of coverage options and market trends, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

Overseeing Policies and Endorsements

Issuing Certificates of Insurance

Ensuring Compliance with Surplus Lines

Enhancing Client Retention through Outstanding Service and Follow-Up

Developing and Sustaining Market Relationships through Marketing Initiatives before and after Renewals

Preparing Written Correspondence, Reports, and Analyses as Required, Documenting All Interactions in AMS360

Collaborating with the Accounting Department on Client Receivables and Account Reconciliation

Delivering Professional In-Person Presentations to Clients, Analyzing Their Insurance Programs and Risk Management Requirements

Qualifications

Active California Property & Casualty License is mandatory.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management or a related discipline is required.

A solid understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and endorsements is essential.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex insurance requirements.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in policy documentation and client interactions.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, fostering a positive and supportive workplace culture.

Willingness to embrace new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and client service.
