We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Financial Services team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in defining, building, and deploying targeted strategies to accelerate customer adoption of our GenAI services and solutions across industry verticals.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement scalable GenAI solutions to solve complex business problems for our customers.
- Engage with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing GenAI along with AWS Services.
- Develop joint-GTM plans, joint-customer engagements, external/internal evangelism, and demos and proof-of-concepts of GenAI end applications/use cases with large models.
- Collaborate with field and central teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.
- Lead curation of custom feature and availability requests for unique customer use cases.
- Provide advanced technical knowledge to your aligned GTM teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
- Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards.
- Collaborate with your GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
- Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
- Guide and Support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers.
The WWSO Financial Services team positions AWS as the best place to run industry-relevant workloads. Our team helps customers migrate workloads and data to the AWS cloud while providing a secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure for customers to innovate and unlock new potential.
Requirements- 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications.
- 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources.
- 5+ years of GenAI and/or AI/ML technical experience.
- History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
- AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
- Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
