Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a seasoned and driven technologist who embodies a rare combination of technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal abilities.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with some of the most significant players in the financial services sector, AWS account management, and various AWS teams to design highly scalable, adaptable, and resilient cloud architectures that resolve customer business challenges and promote the utilization of AWS services.In partnership with sales, you will foster revenue growth among a select group of globally significant financial services customers. As a trusted advocate for our clients, the solutions architect will assist these organizations in comprehending best practices related to advanced cloud-based solutions and the migration of existing workloads to the cloud.
You will have the chance to influence and implement a strategy aimed at enhancing mind-share and extensive use of AWS within enterprise clients.
The ideal candidate should be self-driven with a proven history in software or technology sales or consulting. The capability to link technology with quantifiable business value is essential for a solutions architect. Additionally, you should demonstrate a strategic mindset regarding business, products, and technical challenges. Above all, you should possess a passion for developing technological solutions that address business issues.

- The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a software engineer, systems engineer, or architect. You will appreciate refining your existing technical skills while developing new ones, enabling you to contribute to in-depth architectural discussions to create top-tier solutions built on AWS technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish trusted relationships with C-suite executives (CIO, CTO, CISO, etc.) and enterprise architects; comprehend the customer's technological challenges; delve deep to understand both expressed and unexpressed business needs and obstacles.
- Oversee the overall technical relationship between clients and AWS, offering recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Working backward from the client's business requirements, develop a comprehensive technology vision, strategy, and practical transformation plan; addressing technological challenges while enhancing business impact, innovation, and agility, as well as addressing skills and organizational challenges.
- Build a strategic ecosystem of AWS consulting, integration, delivery, and ISV partners to support the delivery of clients' digital transformation outcomes, enhance satisfaction, and create a sustainable platform for sales growth.
- As a vital member of the sales team, ensure success by formulating and executing a sales strategy to surpass revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS technology.
- Educate clients of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS and engage in detailed architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful cloud deployment.
- Conduct training sessions to share knowledge with clients.
- Advocate for AWS technology strategy for financial services both internally and externally, at industry events, media, etc.
- Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as blog posts and white papers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 5+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
- 8+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with end users or developer communities.
- Experience with presentations and engaging with executives, IT management, and developers.
- Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows, with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, and storage architectures.
- Experience working with AI/ML/GenAI to address customer business challenges.
