Member Services Ambassador

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Membership team as a Member Services Ambassador. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive experience at the Santa Barbara Zoo.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality service to members and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process membership mail and phone orders, as well as gift memberships.
  • Facilitate member entrance into the Zoo and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Zoo programs and services to effectively communicate with members and guests.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a shared open space environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
