Job Summary:

The Student Support Case Worker will play a critical role in connecting students with essential resources and services that address personal challenges outside of the classroom, ensuring their academic progress and achievement of educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of college resources, enrollment processes, and operations to effectively support students.
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and administrators to establish positive working relationships and provide exceptional support.
  • Utilize personal computers and current software programs to manage student cases and track progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support and success.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of college resources, enrollment processes, and operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and work with individuals of diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish positive working relationships with faculty, staff, and administrators.
  • Ability to utilize personal computers and current software programs.
  • Coursework in human services or a similar field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of student supports and essential human services.
  • Some knowledge of state and federal financial aid regulations.
